hey all, im new to the community, but am an old timer (ish) used to map for q3 & cs, just putting the feelers out to see if there is any fellow mappers around and if so, do any of them/you fancy coroborating on a map or 2?

this is what im currently working on, still working on the layout, some parts are textured & some caulked, like to see what im building, in full color, but once construction is finalised will caulk the lot and re-texture only visible surfaces.

 

 

if anyone wants a copy of the file, so they can have a ganders in radient, i'll send them, it used only basic textures, i use a fresh install of wolf:et for radient, so i've not got all the textures from the custom pk3's from my playing/gaming installation.

Have done some Q3 maps and can handle Radiant. Tried ET Maps but I somehow lack creativity in layout and I never liked the maps...But I could provide help with texturing, scripting or detailing areas

ahhh, i have great creativity, but really struggle with the rest of it, doing the targets & triggers etc! the smaller details, when i used to map for q3 i'd work with a small team, usually 3 or 4 including my self, and we'd work on maps together, unfortunately the community that i used to be part of dispersed due to bad management etc. pm me your email address & i'll send you the .map file for the map i posted a screen shot of in my first message. you can have a look see see what you think
