Custom weapon models and sounds - OK to use?

I've been getting really bored with the stock weapon models and sounds (especially the Thompson) and found a few different packs on FileFront that I'm interested in installing. I typically play on =F|A= Recruiting - is it kosher to use custom models and sounds on that server? I want to make sure they won't interfere with PB or anything else before I install them.

 

If they're OK to use, does anyone have a favorite model or soundpack they'd like to share?

Don't quote me on this, but I think you'll find that PB will kick you. Usually those sorts of packs are server side for a reason. But like I said, I could be wrong.

You won't be kicked, but it won't work unless the server has the same .pk3 file. Given that it's a pure server (sv_pure 0) which practically every server is.
