Well, I have installed ubuntu in my sister netbook, but the processor isnt compatible with the Distro, so I-ve decided return to windows, but the GRUB doesnt stop appear everytime I turn on the netbook, I need restore the mbr partition, my DD format is NTFS. Edit 1: Well, seems Ive erased GRUB, but now is appearing the msg: BOOTMGR is missing .... I got a USB bootable with WinXP, but it doesnt start. lol Im fked up. Or within Linux Mint with dd or some other command, but I've never done stuff like this)If you mess with wrong commands you could fk it up for good, so it's better to have a copy, it's up to you.That being said, I think there is a thing you can use, it's called ms-syshttp://linux.die.net/man/1/ms-syshttp://packages.ubuntu.com/dapper/ms-sysafter you put it in Linux Mint you can:$ sudo fdisk -l$ sudo ms-sys -w /dev/drivenamewhere drivename is the drive with windows*I never tried it so be careful, I don't know if it will fix your problem* Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
