Number1Dad Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 I was telling a few people about my new glass I picked up as an early Christmas present. Here's some pics and a vid: It's a family affair: The Bubb (RIP, Dec 12-Dec 26): 11" (pretty thick glass, wouldn't break if it fell off a table or dropped onto carpet), 3 notch icecatcher, stemless with diffused downstem ashcatcher with a carb. Thought of a good name then got high and forgot. Ashcatcher up close: Milk Vid: Doing a rip with snow on top of the icecatchers: Quote
Fb!N!nJa Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Thats awesome lol, i dont see things like that where i live. All i see are ghetto "glass" sculptures that cost like 45 bucks Quote
thundercunt Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 lol at the rat smoke in the last video! Nice collection though and CFH FTW! Quote
Number1Dad Posted January 1, 2010 Author Posted January 1, 2010 lol at the rat smoke in the last video! Nice collection though and CFH FTW! Hitting that was so nice I filled my freezer up with snow. And yeah, RIP Dime. I've got some pretty sweet posters up it's a pretty cool hang out. Quote
thundercunt Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 lol well i would post some glass pics but all mine end up a broken mess on the floor eventually. Just for unsuspecting visitors with no shoes on to cut their feet on. To many parties and drunken stoners at my place to keep a nice glass peice intact. Mostly I have been using a metal one-hitter and a Dug Out. Quote
Livyatan Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I haven't done that in a long time. Never had the pleasure of using spectacular glass pieces like yours, just empty soda cans and rolling paper. RIP Dime... and The Bubb Quote

I'm listening to people testifying to a Washington State House Committee promoting HB 2041 (the legalization one) and if that passes I'm moving to WA. Some very level-headed testimonies, no hippies calling it a panacea, just good presentation, which is a political climate I could definitely hold up in. Quote

LOL.. About 4 out of 6 of my neighbors have VERY visible outdoor gardens in the front yards. In fact, in my tiny ass little town, the sheriff lives like 3 doors down and he laughs at me and my garden. No one cares out here. I am voting NO on legalization by the way. I am a legal medical patient right now as is, and if this vote passes I will no longer be allowed to grow my own. I will be forced to pay for it from the government. They are asking for a 50 dollar tax per ounce, and asking that all non government dealers be put in jail, and all growers be stopped. Sorry but I think that is a bunch of shit. I am not going to let the government put their heart and soul into the medication they grow, because we all know how much effort they put into anything. Think about it.. We will have "western family" garbage weed. Do not vote yes, it is perfect the way it is. Quote

Well from what I understand the bill will likely be amended to include provisions for cheaper access to medical patients and also home growing, one of the committee members said it would be similar to restrictions put on home brewing and distilling. It wouldn't even make it out of committee if it was going to make the MMJ lobbyists mad. The government won't be growing the weed either, the bill, as it exists, provides licensing to private farmers for $500 a year, which is similar to what beer and liquor licenses run here. I don't think mainstream production will have any ill effects on the quality of product, of course you'll see more people smoking ditch but a lot of people do that already. Plus if you grow your own it really won't matter. Really I don't think anybody should have any control on what I do in the privacy of my own home so long as I'm not affecting anybody else. I'm also a big fan of legalization because it's going to hold the producers and dealers accountable for taxes and will allow police to concentrate on more important things. Just make sure you read through the bill before you vote, it will definitely change before it hits the Senate. Quote

If this was the case, I would be out of student loan debt of 120k in 2 years as a private farmer. I have been doing it many years and would love to do that full time. I wonder if they would then let me grow up to 99 plants (the federal limit) I can only have 15 now as it is. That is a pain in the ass due to the fact that I could have like 150 clones ready to go at all times, but that is not the way we are allowed to do it. However 15 plants for just me is pretty decent. I still have jars and jars of meds that I am about to just turn into baked goods because I am about to harvest again. I do agree that they can spend their time a bit more wisely. Although out here, they do not even bust marijuana offences, even if you are 15 and have no medical card. They will just take it and give it to their friends whom have cards and no charges filed. The law enforcement gets in trouble for harassing marijuana users out here. It is the GREEN state. OOOh which reminds me.. The city of Tacoma has granted a business license to a group of people that want to open a bakery and med shop. This is huge because as it was, we only had backwoods med dealers, and now you can goto a store and get very high quality for cheap, and it comes in pretty little glass jars.. lol.. They also opened up a smoke shop in Olympia which allows patients to go in, meet with other patients and blaze all day in the comforts of a secure location.. They have a security dude at the door not letting anyone without a card in, including law enforcement. You can go in the room filled with pillows, put your meds under a USB macroscope and look at your trichomes on a 64"" HD screen while you use one of their MANY pieces.. Some of which includes the Volcano, which is intense. You should move here.. I think you would enjoy it, and the AMAZING quality of ganja we have here as well. Washington is known for the purples due to our colder climate come harvesting time.. Never had a good purple till you have been here.. LOVE IT <3 w0nder putting people to work!! Trim bishes trim! Number1Dad Posted January 18, 2010 Author Posted January 18, 2010 If this were enacted here and prices stayed the same you could easily make your licensing fee back on a couple of good plants. I would love to own a dispensary/lounge some day, maybe I'll look into it a little more now. Quote
