DonTomG1349 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I just want to get anyone/everyones opinion on what they believe to be the best method for getting headshots with all classes (minus deagle, and sniper) to get to the golden camo as quickly as possible. Any tips on what attachment I should use, as well as any type of strategy is more than welcome. Respectively, DonTomG1349 Quote
Lulu Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 My method for the Ass. Rifle, LMG, and SMG was to put an acog on it with a UAV jammer and deep impact and try to snipe with them. Quote
Dddrgn Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Really, all you can do is practice, aim higher than you need to at times Learn to headshot more often through tiresome practice. Quote
EnderWiggin Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 MP44 was the worst for assault rifles. Uzi was the worst for smgs. Because their recoil sucks so much. I had the choice of moving slowly and angling for headshots or running into the thick of things and spraying and praying. I chose the running and spraying tactic. I got b/w 2-5 headshots per game. I am a below average player. Takes patience. The HS will come. Now I'm all done -minus the shotty and sniper, i don't care for those. and I find it difficult to use those two gold weaps. Uzi is better than Ak47 in my opinion. AK47 has a slow rate of fire. If I don't hit the target first in a face to face showdown, i die. Quote
Cyen Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I'm working on the same thing Don. Only just recently got the golden Uzi. I had a heck of a time with the AK74, and for me, I did well with the Uzi. I'm now trying to get the shotgun and the sniper next. Shotgun is just a test of patience. You have to use a small map (the shipping containers one is best), and just be prepared to die A LOT! Also for what it's worth, I prefer using the "iron sights" vs the Acog scope, but that's just in general... I wish I knew about Lulu's tip earlier, might have helped to get those headshots done sooner. Quote
rolf Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Have exactly one class with assault, and only play with that assault weapon (only switch if you're out of ammo). You get more used to their behaviour, recoil and stuff. Don't change the weapon of that class until you have red camo. Really, don't. Secondly, fix the hardest weapons first. So for assault: MP44, M14 (treat it as sniper-ish!), M16A4, in that order (although in practice you'd start with M16A4 ). All other assaults are relatively easy, more similar. For snipers I usually go bolt first, then the auto-snipers. For all other classes, go top down but skip MP5. You pick an MP5 up often enough, don't put that in your class. Good chance you get 25HS and/or all perks on MP5 before you get your first gold I used to go for red dot always, but my stealth style preferred eventually lead me to the silencer (for SMG and assault) and sometimes grip (for LMG, for shotgun I'd prefer more nades and didn't use a perk). Perks are up to you. Quote
Moxie_01 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 This is how i did it. Only took a few days. Use this build Primary - Any weapon + Silencer Perk 1 - UAV Jammer Perk 2 - Bomb Squad Perk 3 - Dead Silence Special nade - Stun or Smoke Now go for snipers and campers. They are the easiest since they're stationary and generally in the same areas. Just sneak around (may take a few trys) and shoot their heads. If you get good at it; on Crossfire map, you can get 2-4 snipers all in that one building at the top of the hill. Just takes time but they're guaranteed headshots. Quote
Eggtato Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Well I find for assault rifles use Red dot or normal iron sight. Use UAV jammer, Deep impact. I hope you enjoy doing M14. Quote
DonTomG1349 Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 Well I've come to realize that the acog scope is very helpful when it comes to the LMG's. Sniping is my thing, so that is never an issue for me. SMG's I figure just silence and use steady aim and sleight of hand. I think assault rifles (at least for me anyways) work well with the acog scope as well, but the red dot sight isn't a bad idea either. Shotguns are the biggest b*** for me. Any other tips on shotgun would be much appreciated. Quote
rolf Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Any other tips on shotgun would be much appreciated. Choose the right maps In my shotgun class I must have a deagle as 'primary' weapon for 'sniping' or mid/long range and shotgun as 'secondary' or close-combat, so other way round to most assault/sniper weapons. Use steady aim and if you don't have any aim, use shotgun grip as well if you don't use nades often. Never use the right mouse to switch for better aiming, that takes too much time. And aim for the head, even if you miss the head you most likely still killed the enemy. With that, shotguns work quite nice on Broadcast in my experience, where you have fun in the bathroom. Wetwork (with smoke!), Vacant, Showdown and Chinatown are other good candidates, but I prefer SMG's on the first three and Chinatown is, well, too much fun to do it with a shotgun PS: The default font&size is good enough.
