Higgeo Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Hey guys + girls. I'm looking for a brand spanking new mouse. I am looking in the $55 - $75 range. It needs to have a few buttons. Feel nice. Nice DPI. Maybe the weight changing stuff is it fits the budget. I also what to know what brands are good. I mainly will use the mouse for games and surfing the net. What do you recommend and what do you have? Quote

Added buttons (I set on both of'em reloading weapon in ET) Mouse roll: You can scroll page in these directions: ........./\ ....<..o..> .........\/ I also have keyboard to complete: G15 I won't change it on any other keyboard (hmmm...ok, I might change it for G19 ) Quote
GraveDigger Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I use a a Razor/Viper model and I love it. Its great. I bought it at buy.com and got a great deal on it. I would check there or maybe amazon or overstock. If you buy between now and Christmas you can get free shipping and a really good deal. Quote
Bi0s Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 it all realy comes down to what you like what feels good in your hand and what your pocket can afford.. for me i am logitech all the way only brand i use i have the g5 and love it the g9 not bad either.. Quote
Blade Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I would go with an MX518 or deathadder. Both are optical which is ideal for tracking in games such as ET.Don't spend your money on some high overrated dpi mouse. The most you really need is like 2000. 400 ftw Quote

NapStar Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 about 80€ for Logitec G9 . + 4x 4 gram wight 4x 7 gram wight 2.000 dpi ( you can chance the dpi in 4 different steps) Quote
Krauersaut Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I'd recommend Logitech's G5 refresh. Quote
IntenT- Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I have a razor copperhead and a mx518. But persoanlly I like my logitech g5 right now, being able to switch dpi on the fly helps a ton in alot of situations. Like playing medic to sniping in ET, or even counter strike. Adjustable weight is also a good feature. Heres a couple links to good mouses and the best price. Razor Deathadder http://computers.pricegrabber.com/mice-trackballs/Razer-DeathAdder-3G-Infrared-Gaming-Mouse/m36218090.html/search=g/st=product/sv=title Logitech g500 http://computers.pricegrabber.com/mice-trackballs/Logitech-Gaming-G500-Laser-Mouse/m740624472.html/search=g/st=product/sv=title Logitech g9 http://computers.pricegrabber.com/mice-trackballs/Logitech-G9-Laser-Mouse/m47579144.html/search=g/st=product/sv=title Logitech mx518 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104178 Quote
Elem3nt Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Intelli mouse 3.0, Razer Deathadder, MX518 Get whichever fits your hand best, I had a Deathadder but couldn't get use to the shape so I switched to an MX518 and love it Quote
TulsaGeoff Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Get whatever feels the best. I have the g500 which I would recommend and it has three features none of my other logitechs had (mx518, g5 v1, g5 v2). 1) It has the ability to burn your mouse settings into the mouse's internal memory. I can take my mouse and plug it into any PC and bam same settings. No installing setpoint software necessary. Its nice for me when I reinstall my OS, because I do not have to mess with my dpi, speed, and button assignments. 2) The scroll wheel has a toggle to freely spin or have the standard mouse resistance. Its nice for internet browsing and in cod its hacks apparently. People set the pistols shooting to scroll wheel and just flick the wheel and it will dump all your rounds out 3) Also you can macros up to any button on the mouse. Some nice features that I dont think any other Logitech has Quote

A good mouse surface is a must since its a laser mouse. I would highly recommend. Quote
IntenT- Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The 500 is a great mouse, I linked it as one of my four good pickups. Quote
