Chameleon Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Here is some stuff I got.. I couldn't put it all together with super new pics like Alex since I am old and lazy, but if ya wanna know what any of this crap is you can ask me haha.. 8x10 lower half of the SVT Rig An old Wurlitzer My Tama Grandstar drums and me playing them Old 145 Leslie Cab I use with a Hammond B3 Fender Rhodes Some snares I have collected This one has an old Fender deluxe reverb, beside it I know thats a bassman head, and I think a twin. Behind em is an old goldtop les paul an srv strat an 82 i think gibson sg and a tele thin line. You can see the leslie cab and part of the hammond also in the bg. Love this old phase shifter, used it many times in the studio and out on the road And last a weird up close shot of my sometimes office when I am lucky haha Quote

GI-JOE Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) I've played on a couple of kits, I started on a huge double bass kit and every kit since then has gradually gotten smaller and smaller until now I'm playing a solid 4 piece lol, here are some pictures These are from 2009: And this is the kit (a vintage Pearl with a natural finish) I'm currently playing on with SugarFinger: Edited March 30, 2013 by GI-JOE 1 Quote
Chameleon Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Very nice Joe! That last pic thereis about how I setup now.. +infinity man I like Quote
Angry Mosquito - Alex Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 PHX I bet you play with ur 10 snares at once... lol Quote
Chameleon Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 LOL! My favorite snare actually is in the pic with me playing the drums. That is a Grandstar set, but the snare is a superstar 8x14. I took the covering off and sanded it down then put a varnish over it.. Playing that natural wood sans the covering made a world of difference in the sound believe it or not. Quote

rajaah thunder Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Cool Dude, how long have u been playing? Thats a fun story .I learnt keyboard [ not the western style with chords , but the indian style ] for 3 months .My dad was not impressed with my teacher as he was too slow [ believe me , i am a fast learner ] .So i left the class and then , i had to throw out all extra curricular activities as I was to study my tenth standard . [ here in india , tenth and twelfth standard marks decide our future ] .I too lost interest in it . Then one day , i just heard paradise by coldplay and i was hooked by it . so i started learnin in youtube , how to play it and that's how it all started . Now i know the basics [ i am a noob both in et and in music ] . Youtube is my teacher 1 Quote
Chameleon Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 rajaah that is a cool story man.. Just as you heard the Coldplay song and got hooked, I got hooked on playing bass after hearing the song "Fire" by Jimmy Hendrix.. All it takes is the right song hehehe Quote
Chameleon Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I bought this cab in 90 something and then a year later had sold it and today after touring the USA it walked back into the store today and I traded for it haha.. 2x15 Fender bass cab Clearing out for our new jam room.. What to do with all these freakin guitars lol Sittin out front of the store having a smoke I realized I finally found a good use for Crate amps lol keeps the door open Didn't realize this pic was so blurry haha, I may have posed these just a bit while making a key world lol Here's a cleaner one before I brought the Wurlitzer in.. Some of the stuff I had to drag out of one of the warehouses :/ And in the doorway my beloved Ampeg 8x10 cab <3 Quote
