I've found for both TDM and Domination the key to this map is controlling the center section.  If your team can control the center (in Domination this is B) you'll win the game.  Getting stuck at the C flag spawn or the spawn in the block building side can be really frustrating.  But as long as you control the center you can usually stop the other team from advancing past that.  The biggest part is team work and if your team has control of the center do not sit back and hang out in your spawn but continue to the center to protect it.  Not everyone should be advancing into the opposite side either or soon you'll find the spawns switched.

 

For domination, there are almost always two spots which are easy to get and one hard one, usually the one in the middle. For domination, always get the hardest one first, either one other is sufficient, but if those latter(s) are taken, recapturing is easy. Same holds for Ambush in this case.

 

 

For ambush TDM, I usually spread out *fast*. Only way to win it is if you, indeed as A_snake said, claim the middle hill longest.

Oh yea, when Shotta comes in I just start shaking in my boots with fear.  I don't move and get accused of camping so then I start raging and telling all my teammates in team chat how pathetic they are and how they can't win a game and that I am the only one that can do anything. oh wait, that's another regular that comes to Abnerdog's.  I forgot myself there for a minute.

 

Yea, Shotta you die just like all the rest, but at least you do a good job on which ever team you are on.  Hopefully the same one that I am on to pick up my slack.

There is one clear advantage that the Marines have in Ambush.  The 30 cal in the window.  You can control that whole lane and eat up Helo's all day.

There is always an advantage to any map for either team and the advantage that OPFor have here is:  attack and capture the two main spawn points

in the Marine side.  Once that is done, no problema.

 

But get a wild bunch of OPFor guys to form a squad and capture the spawn points???  Not happening.

I don't think either side has a superior advantage over the other. All it takes if your side is locked down is one smoke grenade. Also that is why they have the tunnel system. You won't believe how many people never use them. Instead they'd rather go above and die to sniper or grenades. I usually hit auto assign and get stuck with OpFor, so I have a class for just escaping, UAV and xtreme conditioning with smoke nades.

Now for Domination, neither side has the advantage because it's all about getting to B and capping it fast. Which means 2+ teammates. Cap B and 95% chance to win.
