WWE Raw/Smackdown/PPV

Sheamus/Bryan was awesome, thanks to Daniel Bryan. Punk/Jericho was cool, thanks to Punk. Lesnar/Cena was great, but the wrong man went over. They should have let Lesnar destroy Cena in every way to make him seem like a credible threat. Now he lost in his first match and I'm curious to see how they're gonna spin it.

 

Worst match of the night was Orton vs Kane. Same old stuff. Boring as hell.

Raw was not that great, but for the fact that I'm now really looking forward to

Punk vs Bryan.

Smackdown was a bit weird. It had some good parts, aka Daniel Bryan, but also some bad parts, ADR and Big Show/Kane. I like how the crowd chants Goldberg at Ryback

Smackdown wasn't very memorable but Punk vs Bryan sounds interesting.

Below Average Raw...Miz was jobbing to Funkasaurus.

Yeah, that Funkasaurus bit is getting really stale. Miz was headlining Wrestlemania last year and now jobbing to Brodus Clay. Really? Really?

 

I liked the fatal fourway stipulation, because Sheamus and Del Rio is not gonna be a big enough match to get a lot of ppv buys. I do hope Bryan does not continue feuding with Sheamus on Smackdown now, but fully focuses on the feud with Punk.

 

I am looking forward to Punk vs Bryan. Cena vs Johnny L...not so much.

 

Nice to see Paul Heyman back, too.

I did not expect Heyman to actually ever appear on WWE TV ever again, that was a legit shock. Otherwise, very dull Raw.

Raw was okay, curious to see where the big show angle goes. And nice to see AJ on Raw. Crowd was way into Bryan.

Raw was interesting enough with the whole Big Show drama and what's gonna happen on Sunday on Over the Limit with Cena and Laurinitis.

 

I would love to see the old system back with Raw superstars on Raw and Smackdown superstars on Smackdown. At the moment it's all the same guys week in week out and that gets boring very fast..

I'm not a fan of the brand separation, if the right superstars get pushed, they deserve to entertain me on both shows. If the split the brands, Smackdown will always be the inferior show and most of the times downright terrible because of the likes of Kane, Big Show, and more of the same-old midcarders that have been doing the same stuff for eons, and who will never get over. Seriously, why does kane still work in the WWE? No one takes him seriously.

He was taken seriously when he came back at the slammy's and onward, go back and hear the reactions he gets when he comes out

 

Big show is probably going to retire this year, or the following, which is another hit to WWE's already lacking babyfaces. Turning Orton heel would be fun, but unwise.

Smackdown was pretty good. CM Punk vs Kane was surprisingly well done, and it had Bryan on commentary. And Sheamus vs Orton wasn't all that bad either.

Looking forward to Over the Limit now. Probably see it tonight.

Over the Limit was great. I don't know why but it's a good PPV usually.

 

Raw was basic. Average 2010 silent crowd. Lord Tensai gimmick already given up on. Big show fully turns heel. They still promote Christian as a midcard babyface.

 

It's sad that i can sum up a 2 hour show in a few sentences..

Haven't watched Raw yet, but I did watch Over The Limit. Punk vs Bryan was the standout match as expected. Main event was predictable. Rest was pretty bland for me. More Punk vs Bryan please, the finish gave them an opportunity to do so.
