RaNA Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Hopefully this is the right section if not I'm sorry. So I play on FA Hardcore XPS ET, and recently I have been lagging quite a bit. I use 2.60b, have no mods installed other than silent, etpro 3.2.6 , and that is it. However when I go to your server, something causes to drop my fps from 125 to 1 or 13 and then my lagometer has huge green/yellow lag and then my mouse is stuck. Meaning I can't move my mouse, and the fps and lag is back to normal... So I don't know what happens but to fix it I have to reconnect which resets my stats This happens at random times, sometimes it won't happen at all, sometimes it happens like 2 times a map. o.o Quote
+Maluco. Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 so the problem is not the server but something on your side only you lagging and having those problems? 200 unstable ping for me when is full server. mouse freezing?i was having the same problem trying above 10.000 dpi lol Quote

I told you to upload ss and mtr report..I dont see any of those here No, I told you this happens at random times. So I didn't get a chance to take a screenshot yet. I also said when my fps goes to 1 there is a huge lag spike at the same time too. Btw this didn't happen after I told you, but it is hard to take a screenshot of it when it happens, because it takes about 1 second to finish. Quote

I remember that for sure. Anyway- the easiest way to take ss in similar situations is to record a demo and then to take ss from a demo. I am a wrong person to ask, but when I had similar problem before- it was related to my vidcard-it was getting too hot (it was hot in the room in general). But you say you have it only on HC and you are ok on other servers-so I have no idea. Maybe others will know Quote
Haruhi Suzumiya Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Your FPS is going to drop if your not receiving the packets from the server to create the frames in the first place I'm not very good at diagnosing connection issues but I'm sure someone here will know exactly what to do. If you want to try random quick fixes such as reinstalling ET I would first just delete the mod and re-download. You could also delete the pk3's in your ET main having to do with f|a servers and also re-download. Not sure if any of that will solve any problems but it can't hurt and it's easier than reinstalling the hole game. Quote

Or at least be sure to take a glance at the lagometer when it happens so you can let us know what's happening with the blue and green bars. Quote
