i wish ET had "while" command =\ or even a good old "if/then" and a "GOTO"

 

maybe what i really need is some way to 'wait' without using the "wait" command. any ideas on that?

alright i have an example that i think makes more sense:

 

how would you write a script that does this:

 

put yourself spectator and follow a random player

say "thanks!" in global chat once every two minutes

echo a countdown on your screen every 15 seconds until next time it says "thanks!"

 

* must be able to turn this function on or off *

* hope it still works if map changes *

 

 

think of it as something to do if you are called away afk and while you are gone, to eternally express your gratitude for most graciously not being auto-kicked from your precious slot on the busy server. until 20 min later someone finally kicks you for spam, unless by that time you are back, in which case you press F5 again and stop the ridiculous function.
