w0nder Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Unless you can get ahold of an upgrade disk. That will allow you to keep all your files. That is what I did. Also, when and if you attempt to play ET it will kick you. The way to solve this on 7 is, goto ET folders, show hidden and find punkbusterA and punkbusterB and select to use as admin. Punkbuster got all pissed off @ windows 7 for me for a week or so until I figured that out.. Maybe that helps. Idk.. Good luck Quote
Josh/Faded :) Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 The way to do an upgrade is just install it from your desktop and partition it, no need to install it to a dvd if you want to keep all your files you currently have. A clean install is more efficient but an upgrade does the same thing for the most part. SO ya.. Quote
Duckie Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 The easiest way to do it, if you know the lingo, is to mount the iso/zip/whatever to a virtual drive. Then just launch the installer. Doesn't even require a DVD. Quote
