I solve it much more slowly and not even blindfolded... but I have never practiced

Takes me roughly 2 minutes, with both eyes and a 2x2 cube. (Surprisingly 2x2 is not as easy as some would think first)

When they solve it blindfolded they use a different technique as far as I know.

 

I used to solve it without techniques that require much memorization (i.e. the noob, slow and fun way), because I thought once you learn those, it's more a matter of how fast your hands are, but I can't say unless I try. I don't want to judge how easy it is to do something I can't do, because it would be a mistake

 

But to me, it would be more interesting to try and solve it with the smaller number of moves, or anything that requires more thinking than memorization
