When i go to console. I hit \clear then enter. When i start to type everything in the ^ symbol keeps stoping me from moving forward with my nickname. I try to use the online name gen but cant get my pc to copy from clipboard to console. I have tried ctrl-x, ctrl-c, ctrl-z (every combination i could lol). I am running windows vista, please help lol.

You need to copy the code you get from the generator into your config file, not into the console in ET.

 

If you want to rename yourself in ET, you can write /name whatever into your console.

The best idea is to change your name in the Limbo menu for the server :D. I mostly use that.
