idl3
Sorry not versed in water cooling never invested in it. I figure if I can keep running at a cool 35 degrees celsius I'm ok at OC 4.5 I should be good.
Jefke
dat videocard.... Why get all that but not water cooling? meh, the 690. That's only like a 1000 dollar/euro  On which resolution do you play? First one I see that buys a 512gb SSD, bit jelly. Although I don't really need it, 256gb is more than enough for me You should have put in a pci express SSD though, just for showing of ^^ ew, gigabyte. Hate that brand Why an i7, just curious because for gaming hyperthreading is useless ^^ Which psu is it? Sorry for the question, I tend to have many when I see people building pcs (the green one I really want to know ) I sure never would do something like this setup, but sure is a killer rig. Heaven:)
You do realise you can get an i5 which a switch on it to boost it in i7, for the price of the i5. ^^ Common sense to get it really.

idl3
I have OCZ 850w PSU. The TDP for the Vidcard is 300W and the CPU is 70 so I'm well equipt with this. I'm sure it would be safe to have a 1500W PSU but I didn't have the extra $ for that at the time. Cheers You do realise you can get an i5 which a switch on it to boost it in i7, for the price of the i5. ^^ Common sense to get it really. Is that your signature at the bottom of your post? Looks like you have an i7 processor?? :/ I'm running 1600x1200 if there is a way to get HD please let me know, I'm a noob with .cfg files. rolf
I bought my i7 before I knew there were the i5 with a boost. That is not a proof. i7's have HTT, some have VT-d, stuff like that. And generally, higher ranked CPU's have better quality chips. Perhaps not worth it for you, but there is a very good reason they have a different price.
