Team Stacking

I've been playing on F|A servers for a while and really like them...only when an admin is on...the reason being is that people like to team stack...now im a good player and i like to win and all but i like to win fair and square and a lot of ppl just dont care, think its funny, etc etc...I was just wondering if there is a script or something to that extent that F|A could put on there servers that didnt allow team stacking according to k/d....Because, k/d doesnt lie if someone is killing 2 to 3 ppl everytime and thats there average they are game changers...and when a team is losing and you see ppl like that (good k/d killers) joining the other team even though they could join the one that needs them it makes the game not fun for one team and im all about fair....so my question is to f|a can you stop it somehow if not why not and if you can why dont you....thanks pirate aka chrIce and i play on silent recruiting

I know there is a autoshuffle script when there are 3 more player on one team for more than 1 min but teams get alot stacked when admin aren't on you are right . You can always add me on xfire if you need shuffle : quovadisqc

thank you quovadis also i dont think there are enough admins on i rarely see someone who can shuffle kick etc there should generally be in my opinion, and im not knocking fa at all, at least 1 admin who can do these things especially shuffle and !putteam commands because its hard to get ppl to cooperate when there isnt someone with some control...and i understand you cant just go about giving out admin to everyone that wants it but there are some good guys i have been playing with who are still trial members and they are great.... ivy, fish4life, yatzithenazi, and a few others they are great guys love playing with them and i see them say what they think abt team stacking and they just cant do anything abt it...i would just like to see more admins on the silent server so teams stay fair and i would also like to know what ppl think other than look at this and move on...i noticed 80 something views and 1 reply???!?!?!?!? anyway thanks fa and quovadis get back with me and if its feasable fix the team stacking =D

A single reply cos this problem is present on all servers and more especially when there is no admin on a server that prevents it. And thankful that silent has autoshuffle every few maps, but always seems to have people not to work to make the game fair for both teams. As quovadis said, add those clan members that u know from silent to your xfire, and if they are online come to lend a hand or two

unfortunately some of our admins have lives outside the server and we cant be on all the time

i understand your problem and its annoying as hell but its always gonna be a problem and the ain't much for a solution

other then said above add some higher up admins/co leaders and contact someone too help fix teams

I don't think KD helps that much. This is because I've seen players with a KD of around 2.3 who are better than 3.5. Plus I've seen players with KD upto 10 or 11 which just throws the !howfair off.

 

I try to be as active on HC/Silent and always try keeping the teams balanced.

I try as a admin, but you can't control the mob, you can try, but the mob always rules. History of this game has proved that.

Even back when quake came out and we played on CTF Rail servers, it got stacked allot. Mob rules!

Willful team stacking needs to be discouraged. However, sometimes the bots just go haywire, so you cannot join a certain team, unless u can ask an admin.

 

My recommendation would be to have a autobalance for NQ3 at least, the no. of players mostly does not exceed 10. the lower the number of players, the stronger team stacking's negative impact is.
