xFire in COD4 issues

Hey all, might be the wrong forum for this, but thought I would give it a shot.

 

Whenever I use xFire in-game (COD4 is the only game i play), I have problems with game chat. Keys like a will take me back to the beginning of the line, for example, typing 'yeah' will come out 'ahye'.

 

Anyone else experience this? Do you have a fix for it? If not, you have somewhere to suggest looking for a fix? I haven't had any luck finding anything yet.

After pressing coming back to CoD4 press your toggle key again. It used to do that when i had my CTRL key for my toggle.
