Unable to find Beginner server in-game

Went through all of the servers we have and found all of them but the Beginner server, F|A Beginners 24/7 - Fearless Assassins

Is there a reason this wouldn't be showing up? I reset the filters and went through every server name by name.

I'm running version 1.6.565, but I should still be able to see it because i see the other that are on the 1.7 patch.

You can look on our main page to find server info and try to type in the IP manually.

server list bug, after server is restarted it will show on server list.

Happens to low ping 1.6 a lot.

It did move down quite substantially in the list from before, maybe your eyes didn't catch it? Anyway, make sure that

next time that you find it, add it to your bookmarked servers, to make it easier to access.

Nah i'm positve It wasn't there. I'll definatly add it to the favs once i find it, did it to all the others.

I'll tried to type the IP manually earlier, though where I did type that in? Because I don't see any place that allows me to type it in. I'll keep looking, and looks like I might just have to wait for the server to restart.

I was a bit lazy earlier and didn't actually check, but if it's this server 108.61.21.94:28934 it is showing in the server list.

If you still can't see it in the server list try to connect by ip open the console and type /connect 108.61.21.94:28934

You can also add a favorites by clicking join game and where it says internet at the top click it and you will see it change to favorites and local. Make it say favorites and there should be an add new favorite button. When you select that it will allow you to input the ip.

Sweet, alright thanks guys. I'll give that a shot once I get home.

 

Edit: Alright so I enter the IP address and found it though it didn't have the name. I wasn't able to join it because my game is not version 1.7. So I just updated the game to 1.7 and now i can play that server but can not play any other servers such as Abnerdog.

Looks like I might just revert back to 1.6 and not be able to play 1.7 servers. Any suggestions?

Hey Moxie, do a search on the Forum for version changer. Download it and once properly installed it will allow you to play both the 1.6 and 1.7 versions.

 

Can be a little tricky to set up but worth the time.

Alright so I got the version changer but it wasn't working so I kinda manually did it my way, It had all the versions so i just placed the files in and over wrote the old ones. Takes about a min or two that way, but it's allowing me to play w/o having to reinstall the game.

Hey Moxie I have a patch switcher called Cod4 patch switcher or cod4ps. Either way I searched the web for it and found this one. It was a simple install and works great. It takes nothing more than clicking 1.7 or 1.6 button and you are ready to go.

 

Anyway I jupm on Beginners from time to time and the server is really full during the times that we are normally on. There you may get double what you get now in kill streaks or KDR. Also keep in mind the Tube is allowed there and is annoying for people used to Abnerdog's where it is not.

Thanks Snake, i'll look into that one. Switching the files gets to be a pain quick.

I was on beginner today and took too many tubes to the face. Countdown map + tubes into shed things = me raging lol.
