Pure server?

Used to play ET a lot on my tower a few years ago. Trying to get back on on my laptop, but everytime I get the, 'failed pure server' message and am not allowed into the game. Please advise.

Right click and Run as administrator. I am assuming you are using windows vista or 7.

Yeah, on vista, but rightclick on what?

right click on the game shortcut either on the desktop or in your starrt menu (not the icon in the 'games folder' and 'run as administer'. its stupid i know. but then who wouldent want to run paint as an administrator?
