Minecraft Build offs a possiblity?

What I would like to see (and at the same time could attract attention to our minecraft servers) would be us setting up some sort of building competition that we record and post to youtube in a series. For example, we could have a chosen topic, and have 2 or more people go at it at the same time, with a time limit of course. Then, the winner would be able to be voted on on the forums. Viewers on youtube might be inclined to check out our servers, and it could be something fun for the server. Does anyone think this might be a good idea at all? maybe?

I like that idea, would take some time to set up. Also, should have some boundary conditions? Like max size and/or categories.

Indeed, interesting idea. We could surely limit the size with borders of colored wool for example. Let's see how many are interested and decide then.

could also do team build offs, two or three people on each team. If enough people want to.
