Little explain: I'am actually stuend on univeristy and i'am living on the university city. So i have a connection to internet but i can"t play ET with it. I can play to only one game, and i think is cause on my desktop the incon of this game have the little shield of windows (Shield Blue and yellow, same for fire-wall) and on my ET icon i don't have it. So how can I put this shield to my ET icon to play? And if isn't that, do you have some idéa to play ET with this connection? Thanks for reading. Bourbon. Quote

Jefke Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 You can run et I guess? I think the reason why you not able to play et is because your college blocks the ports needed. Got the same problem in classes to get on xfire, et and other stuff. I just use a vpn (ping will raise no matter what, even skyrocket with certain vpns). I know hotspot shield is a free easy to use vpn (comes with bit ads, but works decent), that's the one I'm using => you will get an American ip though, high ping . This is pure based on my own experience in class ^^ Quote

It's the only one icon with the little shield, and the only one game i can play. Edit: OK, Et have the little shield but that change nothing, so it's the ports... Some idéa to help?
