so here's the problem: each time i got to download a new map, it doesen't go over 15-18 kb/s, and it takes around 10 minutes to download a single map.

in normal downloads i got on average at 600-700 kb/s, so it's not my connection the problem.

 

do u know what can i do to raise that download speed?

I had same problem today at f|a #2 i thought it's my internet operater's problem i went crazy and call them what's the prob lol.

no mate, i don't really think the problem comes from my isp, cause in all every uploading-downloading functions, my connection works great...

i download files at 700 kb/s and i surf the net at good speed, dunno why but the problem is limited to et (all servers)

He is talking about all ET servers not only noquarter :P

 

anyway nik00 firewall problem not redirect ... and it seems he fixed it ^^

yeah, thanks to medi i solved my problmes: firewall was blocking the problem, i think fw changed radically after my format of hd copule of weeks ago, and i forgot to insert et in the fw exceptions.
