Are you using a Win7 64 bit OS in the VM? Mine seem to be dropping in to the following folder: C:\Program Files(x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Main\Demos

Does the demos directory exist? If not, that might be why it's not saving them.

I'm assuming win7 and win8 are the same as far as where the demos are placed.

Should be in one of these folders.

C:/Users/[computer name]/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files (x86)/Activision/Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/main

C:/Users/[computer name]/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files (x86)/Activision/Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/players

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 4\main\demos

That's what you get for running Windows on a Mac.. :spank

Sorry, I can't help you, but if you ever decide to play CoD directly on your Mac, I can show you where your demos are saved (no 1.6 on Mac though, which is probably the reason you play on the VM).

I couldn't find my folders either.

After installing OS mountain lion, cod's been playing up, crashes all the time and laggs a lot,

Let's hope they fix this problem.
