I told the admins, but they did not do nothing about it. But its a major issue thats been going on for a long time, and needs to be addressed. Ace250 Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 Oh sorry, thanks for that. I created it in WMM. It produces large files. But its in 1080p. Also, about the et demo thingy, I can't open it with any media player right now. I used Fraps for everything and than encoded it.

There is no real anticheat in this game anymore, so you just got to take it unless an admin thats knows what shownormals even is is around. Sorry for your bad experiance though. Have fun on the servers.
vke Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Thanks for taking the time to make a movie; however only et demo's themselves are valid for cheat evidence. In the future you need to take a demo by typing /record in the console, and uploading it online.

Have fun on the servers. Lvl 11 and above are clan trials+clan members. If you say they cheat you are openly accusing our clan, we have zero tolerance on cheaters and if you provide a proper demo it will be reviewed by our best eyes, who believe it or not have heard of the shownormals, but empty accuses such as this are not welcome.

Be careful when he plays next time at least. It's of course nice of you to send demos, that is out of question. But if I were you I wouldn't be so quick to judge admins you don't even know. You don't know that a demo is much better than a movie, and you even try to open it with a media player, then you say you would be a better admin, think about it. No disrespect here, as well. I don't think there is here a *single* admin who *doesn't* know what r_shownormal is, on the other hand you must be very good, since you caught 20 (!) cheaters without even recording them... In the past week I haven't even counted 20 not-even-close-to-good players, ofc with all respect (I am low myself, at least in the etpro meaning of the word). These 20 cheaters must have been terrible even with cheats, so sad for them... (unless it was the same guy with 20 names lol) 1

Anyway, are you sure these are the correct demos? All I can see is a player called *ace* standing in spawn doing nothing for a few seconds then the demo is over....
Clan Friend SunLight Posted August 2, 2012 Clan Friend Posted August 2, 2012 edit: my bad, I thought we were talking about a cheater, I don't know if you know what 'cheater' means, I finally decided to start downloading that huge video and watched the beginning with vlc while it was still downloading... I see in the video that you talk about 'farming', farming and cheating are a totally different thing (so I understand now the point of the demo with you standing in spawn lol... I was looking for cheaters not farmers)
Ace250 Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 Well, as said in the video, it may seem like a small issue. But, you need to also address it. You can't let farmers keep farming and not supporting the team with their classes. Just tell every admin to keep an eye on him when hes online.
