This can be a confusing topic, so for now just copy and paste the text below and put in a Notepad file.

 

Then save it as "autoexec.cfg" in this location: Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/etmain

 

Be sure you have saved it in the "etmain" folder.

 

Don't leave it as a text file or it won't work. Name it as a ".cfg".

 

Then when you are playing ET on the server, type this in your console (use the ~ key to open it):

 

/exec autoexec.cfg

 

then hit enter and close the console.

 

Be sure you are in the game and not just in the main menu, or the settings will not be applied to the right etconfig file.

 

Some settings won't be activated until you restart the game. You should notice a significant improvement over the default settings.

what if i dont have that folder i just downloaded my wolfenstein from a web site all i have is the installer and the shortcut to wolfenstien. can i still change settings?

do i over wtite the autoexec thing in the etmain folder? because when i do it doent start up
