rolf
You mean you want to reinstall it? It depends a bit. Usually, "just install Windows". If you have a pc which was pre-installed with a lot of bull$heize, that might not work. Get your CD/DVD which came with the computer, configure that it starts from that CD/DVD and either you can install it then, or tell us what goes wrong. rolf
Under the assumption that it is some CD which says "Windows" on it, follow the instructions of the cd. I don't know which cd you have exactly, but I guess they will ask for some questions and you confirm those. Obviously, it might cause that your entire pc is cleared; so I hope you already made backups. Edited July 18, 2012 by rolf
Waster
First did the windows cd install? If not, how exactly did you erase the HD? Did you use format to erase? If its an old windows disk (win98 or older) you may need to find or make the Windows Start-up disk (3.5 floppy) you should be able to find it on the internet. If the disc is xp it should install without the start-up disk.
Revenant
It sounds as if the partition was removed from the drive. Worst case fix, you can download and burn a CD of Knoppix, which would at least give you internet capabilities. Good luck!
