Leader RedBaird Posted July 21, 2012 Leader Posted July 21, 2012 Extremely nice job, Mr. Paradox! I was laffing at the various "thumbs-ups" and that music at the end that gave a an odd 50/60's mood to it . I would suggest that players new to the map play on both sides before watching this tutorial, so that they get a feel for the landscape. I think watching this first would be too confusing, or is it just me? I played on Allies a couple of times and spawned as engie at the rear flags, to make CP, etc, and spent A LOT of time trying to find my way to the action, but it seems no-can-do until the Axis blows at least two main gates. I joined late one time, when axis were near the final room, and saw 5 allies in a defensive line on the map, way back at first battle-zone. I tried to tell them that the battle had passed them by and to attack the axis way to their rears, but... Quote

Gorilla Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Awesome vid mate. Havent seen a couple of those gates to blow. Im presuming after the first 2 gates you can bypass the next one. I can see why axis struggle to win this map, the first 2 gates are the tough ones. Quote
Leader RedBaird Posted December 10, 2013 Leader Posted December 10, 2013 RedBaird contacted me and told me that the video was down, sorry about that. Here's the new link Credit to Buckwild. I had told him on-server that there was a FlameGuards tutorial here, and he pm'd me on-site that it was busted. I will try to direct more players here for this large and fun map. ADDED: I just tested Searching for this topic and only "flameguards" worked. It found my combo-word in the line above. Search function not do well with most punctuation, and so did not find "flame-guards". That is why I tell posters-about-macs to put the word "macintosh" in their posts, so the search can find them. Searching for "mac" won't do it. 1 Quote
