OnionKnight Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I dunno i think like 6 people died in Canada? No one from the province i live though. Quote
NoGooD Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 lol no I think you misread my sarcasm. I'm not scared of it, I already had it and got over it. My point is that even if you get it, you have a 1 in 4000 chance of dying from it, so it's nothing compared to real killers like hunger and malaria. It sucks, but I never felt bad enough to go to the hospital and pay $100 to see a doctor (even with my insurance it is still expensive). A lot of people here say the same thing. The government has no idea how many people really have it, because millions of people like me don't go to the hospital unless we have a car accident or something like that, even with health insurance. So instead of a 1 in 4000 it is probably 1 in 10,000 chance of dying. haha, Its probably a good thing you didn't go to a docs Phan, espeically an ER. I can almost quote what you would have been told. "Go home, get rest, drink plenty of fluids, if your symptoms get worse or you feel there is an emergency, go to an ER." It's just like the regular flu. There is very little that can be done except treating the symptoms. Quote
Higgeo Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Did you know that Adelaide, Australia was the place where the vacsene was invented. Thats where i come from. Swine flu is overrated. Polititions hype it up. Its not as bad as the polio. Quote
