I do respect you Volan, but I've also read Kauersaut's replies and I haven't noticed any aggressiveness towards you. The Mangler Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 You have to see it from this point: If you don't want spam protection, there are plenty others FA servers, where you can use fun vsays as well as other vsays all the time. On Jay2, however, there play a lot of raters. So, if I was playing for rate, I'd get pretty annoyed by vsays, distracting me all the time. Doesn't matter if it is vsays for teams, or for fun. In order to keep the server regulars attached to Jay 2 the spam protection is in place. And pretty useful... The raters are the ones that spam the most. The Spam protection is way to strict. I agree that there needs to be a limit on Jay2 but its insane the way it is now. I hate the spam and do my best to get it under control when I see it getting out of hand. Plus like others said just turn of vsays and its quiet. First 2 yrs I played Jay2 I didnt know what any of them sounded like due to me having them off. Quote

Elf Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I seen too much spam, in Jay2 use the /cg_noVoiceChats 1 and that would be it, but its nice to work as a team and doing maps and need to chat to your teammates, like "backdoor allies coming in now" ! I think we should step it up enforcing the spam rule more. Quote

If people want to be idiots and spam stupid vsays, get spam blocked then have to ask for something and cant...well so be it lol Quote
