Goto multiplayer options on ur COD4 in-game options menu, and simply type in your updated tag there.

Alternatively you can open up CoD4 Multi and hit the tilde key (the key below 'Esc' on your keyboard to bring down the console - assuming you have it enabled in your settings) and type /name =F|A=joeydabull (for example)
