yes it does, couldn´t even get installer booting up. so no win no prob :P

What do you mean smoother? Windows 7 runs same as Windows 8 on my desktop and laptop.

I have not tried Windows 8. For me the best Windows is Windows XP. ;)

My friend tried win8. He didn't like it, mainly because it completely changes the layout. Kind of have to get used to it. Also it feels more like a tablet OS, at least that is what he thinks.

 

As far as smoothness, it would depend on your computer. But win8 should run as well as win8

Didn't even know there was windows 8 yet. I'm still running good ol' XP on my main desktop.
