To install the powercap, you will have to connect it in parallel to the amp and your lead power wire. Bascially, it's like this. (lead power cable) connects (Powercap + side) connects (Amplifier lead fused). (Power cap - side) connects (Ground or chassis) Hope this diagram helps.
