hobbit Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Once I have more time I will start mapping and scripting (First I'll also need to learn lol) a new map. I would like your opinions on what it should contain, what the obj should be, etc. Things I know: 1. Map will be either scrim map with short obj or a frag map 2. If it's an obj map, Axis attack and Allies defend (just to mix it up a bit) Things I'm uncertain about: 1. I was thinking the obj might be Axis get rocket parts and deliver them to truck, and then escort it to a base. Tell me if you want it to be an outdoor and indoor map, only outdoor, only indoor, etc. Also, the obj might change if I see one that is thought out well enough. As of now, I have no date that I will publish the map, but I will post updates here whenever I can or whenever I make major changes/additions. Yea, i've been trying to think of something that actually happened in WW2 to use, so far i've got a few ideas but don't know which one i'll choose. Like have a crowd of people you have to escort to a truck to get them out of the city for allies, axis have to build barriers that can be satcheled, and build a radio to call in bombers to pwn the city. That would be a lot of scripting, all I know how to do atm is make a room with a spawn and lighting lol I'm aiming at a smaller map with a little bit less scripting to start off.
