If you have the retail (non-MAS) version, put the demos in /Applications/Call of Duty 4/Call of Duty 4 Data/Mods/ModWarFare/demos/, start the game, click Mods, launch ModWarfare, open the console and start the demo with /demo demoname.

When looking for my recording last night it automatically went into library/application Support/ Call of Duty/ Main/ Demos

From what i think you are saying i should put the recorded demo in the app/ contents/call of duty 4 data/mods/modwarfare/demos/demo0000.dm_1

i opened console and typed /demo demo0000.dm_1 (didnt work)

i opened console and typed /demo demo0000 (didnt work)

So far I have no idea how to open an .dm1 file on a Mac. But like Krauersaut said you have to open it in-game. You could download an .exe file and open it in Wine
