Bosman Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 So i have the bind and the location of the demo file taken for the test buit no way to open a dm1 file on my mac. Any clues? I searched google and here for info but everything is info for the pc. Snake has a good bit of info here but its all PC. Ill create a tutorial if i can get more info for Mac computers.... http://fearless-assassins.com/tutorials/article/195-how-take-demos-and-screenshots/ & http://fearless-assassins.com/files/file/438-cod4-demo-viewer/ Quote
Krauersaut Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 If you have the retail (non-MAS) version, put the demos in /Applications/Call of Duty 4/Call of Duty 4 Data/Mods/ModWarFare/demos/, start the game, click Mods, launch ModWarfare, open the console and start the demo with /demo demoname. Bosman Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 When looking for my recording last night it automatically went into library/application Support/ Call of Duty/ Main/ Demos From what i think you are saying i should put the recorded demo in the app/ contents/call of duty 4 data/mods/modwarfare/demos/demo0000.dm_1 i opened console and typed /demo demo0000.dm_1 (didnt work) i opened console and typed /demo demo0000 (didnt work) Quote
Krauersaut Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I assume you have the Mac App Store version and not the retail version? Quote
EmperorZerg Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 So far I have no idea how to open an .dm1 file on a Mac. But like Krauersaut said you have to open it in-game. You could download an .exe file and open it in Wine Quote
Ken Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I have same problem, see my post under http://fearless-assassins.com/topic/32378-how-do-you-record-in-console/ It's the third one. Quote
