Corey Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 The low-cost Raspberry Pi Linux computer is set to become available for purchase later this month for $35. The firm behind the budget computer announced on Monday that the first batch of boards will enter manufacturing on February 20th and will be available at the end of the month. The single-board computer is equipped with a 700MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, SD card support and both HDMI and RCA outputs. rolf Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I've been interested in this project since I've heard of it, although I missed the day they start shipping. It seems to be an awesome piece of hardware, fun to play with. I will try to use it as a basic home server though, I have no need (or use) to connect it to my TV. The only problem is that there isn't a power supply, however with something like this, that won't even be a problem. Quote
rolf Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Play BattleField 3 on it Even the Quake 3 isn't the officially released version which will run, the raspberry PI won't even run Windows, let alone BF3 Quote
