ET Main In-game server list DOWN

I have been talking to a lot of people about the server list being down. From what i have learned, all the Quake games as well as all the ET games server lists are down forever. The main reason is hackers have been using the source code and the servers on the main server list to DDOS company, private, and government servers and others as well. This is what i have heard. Has anybody else received info about the issue??

good to see people work on issue better than the original game developers
