70 years ago today, the 3,000 are remembered.

 

More recent events sometimes overshadow this day, but I believe in remembering and honoring those who died in horrible attacks on our country.

 

To all those who died that day and those who fought for this country since then....... I salute you.

My grand-pappy was at the naval recruiting station the next day, signing up to join the cause.

My grand father was part of the Dutch resistance.
