Silent mod medpack question Hardcore server

It is possible as Max mentioned but very odd to find a server that his on, can't really remember the last time I ran into such a server myself

 

I played on this kind of server couple years ago.Although medic was able to pick his own packs after 10 seconds from throwing them, that made game very inconvenient

 

I agree with you. However hardcore, with FF enabled, makes me think (and correct me if I'm wrong) that the players on there are also hardcore. This seems to not be the case. (And I'm not talking about clan members, just random players, although most of them, so far, have been playing every day.)

 

Some of them are hardcore but most is well.. 'less experienced'. If you're trying to kill your enemy and this kind of player (not experienced) will just team kill/bleed you, that is why medics should be able to heal themselves.

I agree Vide0Chick, some players on HC server are rambo medics, but I do see the difference in gameplay with some medics on that server. Most of the time the medics will use you to help with the kills, IE. revive you and use you as a shield to reload and get back in the fight. Also, if you dont force tap right away medics do come in and try to kill the enemy and then bring you back into the fight.

 

If your looking for a challenge there is always etpro with some amazing players. As for me, HC its self is a well rounded server with FF, single jump, and fewer max players.

@scream if someone purposely TK or TB on a FF enabled server, that shouldn't be allowed imho. All the more reason to get people to take care when aiming and practice to get better

Parameters

Type: bitmask

1 Medics can't pick up their own health packs to cure themselves of poison needle effects

2 Medics can't pick up their own health packs at all

4 A level 4 medic will always be revived to full health (no matter what the level of the reviving medic is)

8 Value is not in use

16 Medics do not spawn with akimbo pistols, regardless of their light weapons skill

32 Medics spawn with pistol only, and can't pick up SMG of either team However, any class can steal a medics uni, if g_classChange is set to 1, and receive the medic benefits while retaining their current weapons, including akimbos and SMG

64 Medics can use syringes to heal living teammates as an alternative to the tk/revive cycle.

128 Level 4 medics can inject other players with their adrenaline. This can be done when holding the revive needle by pressing the alt-fire button, or with the /adrenother client command.

256 Level 4 medics cannot adrenaline self. If this flag is on, Medics will not receive adrenaline upon reaching level 4. (This won't affect flag 128)

 

Default: 0

It's not allowed and it's not purposely. It's just when you are trying to kill somebody in a close battle, there will be somebody behind you that tries to kill the 'bad' guy. Usually it looks like this: you're trying to kill the opponent but it ends up in being team killed due to lack of aim of your 'less experienced' teammate.
