well yeah, damn. I heard video cards are not replacable with a laptop.

Luckily I'm playing on my pc now, so that's all good, but still. It's a lot of money.

Sorry that sucks. Also that is one reason not to ever get an expensive laptop.

Many laptop vid cards are hardwired to the motherboard, so I've heard.....

That sucks. Under warranty? If not then I would suggest baking it but it might be a bit more difficult than usual considering that it's a mobile card. Not my area of expertise.

You can purchase a pci express box which basically allows you to run a desktop vid card with a laptop.
