I am a fan of the original, so hearing back then that there will be a US remake of the novel, it left me wondering if it'll suck like most remakes. Since it'll be helm by David Fincher, I'm gonna go see it when it comes out on December 21. Being released during the Holidays, not sure if it will get a decent opening, unless there's good word about the film.

Sometimes I wonder if some people are so stupid that they are incapable of enjoying a movie that is in another language. Is that so incompatable with an American audience?

I'm not going to get my hopes up, the subtitled version was perfect imo.

 

Sucks that the us version is going to be dumbed down quite a bit.

 

 

*edit* nvm, watched the trailer, it has daniel craig, so its gonna be bad ass regardless.
