Connection Interrupted Issue

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else been having problems with this error lately? I would have this happen to me very occasionally in the past and would last for just a couple seconds but the last week I've been getting the error to the point where I can't even play and it disconnects me entirely from the host. I've played MW2 and Black Ops online without any issue so it seems to be tied in with the F/A servers. My internet connection seems to be fine. Not sure what to do?? Any help would be appreciated.

When you get that issue, I would suggest to run winMTR and see if you notice any packet drops.

Unfortunately these results don't mean much to me.... does anyone have some input? Any help would be appreciated! :thanks

Check your firewall settings in your router and modem.

You are getting 56% packet loss on your side.

looks like you are having issues before the server, where you notice your highest percentage loss 38% and 56 %

Thanks for your input, I think I have it figured out. I moved my NIC to a different slot on the mobo and bought a new ethernet cable - this seemed to have taken care of it. I've played a handful of rounds since without any issue. Hope to test it out more tonight but as of now, all seems good!
