Bad storms

There were some very bad storms in the south yesterday. All you members and guests who live in the area, you make it through the wheather Ok? Makes me wonder what it is going to be like when the really hot days get here.

I posted in the other section as well, but our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have lost in the recent storms.

Damn they raised the death total by another 18 just from when I looked 90mins ago. And they expect it to go higher.

Hey King I'll be thinking of you man. We usually get a few watches here in Maryland but thats it. Although a few years ago an F5 when through southern MD.

They had 3 unconfirmed natos in carroll. fred, balt. countys all my family is from carroll county and everything is alright with them.

 

The f5 are you talking about the one that hit la plata?

Yes that is the one. My route was down there at the time and what a mess. Lucky not much population.

Hey I have a question for you. I have directv. Can they break in for a tornado warning if there is one in your area? I never gave that much thought until talking in these forums.

I think if you are watching like none movie ch. they will. could be wrong they may do all. I know Cable tv that the only Ch. they dont break in is the weather ch lol. But dont know for sure.

the funny thing is is that i live in Augusta GA right...and about like 2ish yesterday morning i was on the FA hardcore server. and im just chattin away like "yeah guys. looks like a big storm is on the way. its lightninging ((i know. nice word)) like hell right now." but little did i know of the hell surrounding cities and states were goin through that had potential to come down here. later that night tho is when i learned. tornado warnings out the ass. it literally sounded like i was on a ship at sea by the way the wind and rain was pelting my windows...not to mention the small hail that was dropping.

My car got pelted with hail. Its pretty much ruined, I thought it wasn't half as bad as I first thought. But the next day I went out and checked and there is about 500 dents in it. I wonder what this is gonna cost me.....

The wheather service has confirmed that at least one of the storms was a F5 and they expect others to be also. They are also looking for a pickup truck that was picked up by the storm and now they can not find it.

We got lucky here in south east GA. heavy rainfall, no hail, sleet, or snow and no tornados. hey roster there is a video on youtube about getting dents out of your car with a hairdryer and canned air check it out.
