RoosterCogburn Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Any one else listen to this guy? I admit I didn't really know about him until about a year ago, and usually I don't even like this type of music but holy crap there is just something about the way he puts a song together, its a real shame he died at such a young age. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clm6NMhzbs0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li5tRKagfTU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izTpF5x90ks Those are some of my favorites, they are from his album Donuts. SjaaKTreKHaaK Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 what you said, what it's all crumpled together, and this came out but you can not call it bad, but not my type of music to Quote
wesker Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 one of the best hip-hop producers ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_Vfr2ZUyHE Quote
NoGooD Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Wesk said it best. W/O a doubt one of the best producers ever. I just found out about him a few years ago from a classmate of mine. I've seen even some of the most knowledgeable beat-heads I know get stumped on his mixes. Check out Stones Throw podcasts. J.Rocc did some pretty sick tributes to him. Also check out Madlib. You may dig on some of his mixes. I think Stones throw is still on itunes, which is easier than creating an account on their website. http://www.stonesthrow.com/podcast/ Quote
