IE is still the most used browser so the developer develop for that browser all the time. If they can keep their compatibility. By example, some of the apps from IBM has no problem on IE7, but when I try it on Firefox or Chrome, there is always some bugs that prevent a lot of features. So if they keep that compatibility, I'm switching to it if it's as fast as chrome.

What I expect from a browser is:

1. Open REALLY fast: I don't want to wait, I don't want the plugins to load for 5 seconds, the maximum I can wait for my browser to open is 2 seconds and even that is really slow. I have a freaking 4 core computer with over 4 gig of RAM. I don't expect to slow down...

2. Searching has to be easy: Google did an EXCELLENT job for the search bar. I don't want to go at the right corner to click and search. I can do over 200 search per day. I don't want to waste my time... make it in one bar and I'll be happy.

3. Easy to drag tabs, make other tabs, transfer tabs, close tabs: Chrome block the rendering while you drag the tabs. It's pretty cool since I can move all my tabs around and keep one main window with everything important.

4. Compatibility: Chrome doesn't have that... However I can still use the IE tab extension which is really good and makes half of the non compatible apps from different vendors works in chrome.
