stevia Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Hi guys,yesterday i was playing ET,then i turned off pc and when today i tryied to launch it,instead of starting the game was stuck on a grey screen i think the screen just before the introdution video! i really don't know reason of this,never happend in long times.. maybe some of you can help me ? bb all Quote

stevia Posted January 1, 2011 Author Posted January 1, 2011 (edited) well i tryed waiting 1 minute. but then nothing changed. oh another thing: yesterday i putted some .cfg files from another user in my ETMain and first time i start play on the screen there was the sign "unsupported frequency"maybe because one of the cfg files setted the grapich level to much high. but i could play for some time,then i turned off and now ET don't start. i deleted all the new cfg files.. but still not start lol sorry english is not my best Edited January 1, 2011 by VerSac Quote
stabak Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 maybe the cfg´s made some changes in the autoexec ? you have checked it ? if it so is make a copy, save it do a different folder (as backup) and delete the original, than start game again. (et will create a new autoexec) Quote
Fb!N!nJa Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 reinstall ET but keep ur etkey somewhere just in case (its in the etmain folder) altho reinstalling should only effect the game it could also effect the files thats why. After that just make a profile and drag ur etkey to ur etmain folder thats it! Quote
