Hanging Screen by Join a New Map

For several days now, when I'm on the ETs server and start a new map, the game freezes for a few seconds and then again shortly afterwards.

I even have the Nvidia display for FPS etc. as a display, but everything looks completely normal.

All the drivers are up to date, so that can't be the problem.

 

It always worked fine before and I never had any problems with it.

 

My system:

AMD Ryzen 9 9950x 3D

ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 OC

Possibly a cfg/file error, I had this too.

complete fresh reinstall of ET Legacy, be sure to only retain your ET KEY!!!

etkey is irrelevant for his homeserver , its silent.dat

I had thought of that and done it too :) Sorry I forgot to mention it above.

 

But it didn't help either.

Just as a test, why don't you start ET, load the silent mod and do in console

 

/meminfo

 

then condump it to meminfo.txt and post it here...

I have created the meminfo.txt File and attached
