ET Enemy Territory: Unreal Engine Edition

Unpopular opinion but to me, what gives ET its personnal touch is its "simpleness". From what I saw in the images, it justs looks close to your regular COD/Battlefield, which I'm not very fond of because of how hard it focuses on very good graphism but soulless gameplay with little objective other than killing a maximum amount of player (add objectives please). If I can give my personal opinion, you guys should try to stay as faithful as possible to the original game. You can update graphisms but keep the game easy to handle for beginners, don't add too much content that could ruin the simplicity of it. Make simple HUD also is what I can give as an other advice. Oh and maybe new classes would be cool ? I'd like you guys to hear your feedback.

Its going to be a big mix of a ton of things. We cannot fully stick to inspiration of ET only as that would infringe on a lot of copy right issues. 

 

It's going to have many resemblances but overall, it will give off the same ET vibes and feel on which how you play, raw inputs, bunny hopping, strafe movements, and many more.

Wow, that's super cool. I just found out about it, and what can I say: I like what I see

 

I wanted to try redesigning the game myself, but I lack a little experience and time.

 

I hope this will be a really cool project and I'm already looking forward to when it will (hopefully) be available to buy on Steam.

 

In any case, as a content creator (streamer on Twitch), it would be great to have a completely different shooter game.
