New maps are not loaded when the game starts. Please HELP

At startup, ET writes that new maps are needed, tries to download them, but nothing happens, just waiting for the download. Previously, maps were loaded automatically. Now they don't load In any way, For example - Z_fang on NQ and none at all. By searching here on the website, I can't find new maps to download. What to do? how do I set up the loading of maps?

Do you have this command in your cfg file?

cl_allowDownload 1

cl_wwwDownload 1

I will move my z_fan*.pk3 files out of my NQ folder and see if the redirect server downloads them okay.  (I have 4 such z_fang* files, so it seems 3 are old ones from years ago).

 

Okay, "z_fanq_weapons.pk3" downloaded right away, so our "redirect" server is not the problem.

 

You can look in your NQ folder (not "noquarter" as that is an older version of the mod). 

 

See if there are any *.tmp files there, such as "z_fang*.tmp" or some such.  Delete or move them and try again, after making sure of the settings that Razjee mentioned.

 

It seems that if a download is interrupted and the temporary *.tmp file is left, then the next file download attempt will fail.  The download will not continue where it left off on the same file.
