PassiveStoner Posted Tuesday at 12:13 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:13 AM I had the game on release. Yes, I am that old. Quote
Snake in the Grass Posted Tuesday at 01:24 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:24 AM @hyness actually it reminds me of a French game called Androides on Thompson MO5/TO7 platform. It was released in 1985. That was the prehistoric times of video games, a time when one game was coded entirely by only one person, over a couple of weeks. This was my first video game ever.. and my first love. 1 Quote
hyness Posted Tuesday at 01:36 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:36 AM (edited) @Snake in the Grass That game looks like another classic game on the Commodore 64 in 1983, Jumpman by Epyx Man, I loved that game. A great platformer. The Commodore 64 was an amazing PC, the best selling computer of all time Edited Tuesday at 01:36 AM by hyness 1 Quote

I loaded it from dos. From a floppy disk. My dad taught me to play. I found all the secrets. Gahhhhhh the good ole days. 1 hour ago, hyness said: I’ve been playing Wolfenstein games since they looked like this For the uninitiated, that’s Castle Wolfenstein on a Commodore 64. It was released in 1983. It served as the inspiration for Wolfenstein 3D. Amazing game for its time and considered a pioneer in stealth gaming. I have been playing Enemy Territory since its launch in 2003. I have some demos from those days Ollllllld school 1 Quote

Drempa Posted Tuesday at 07:36 AM Posted Tuesday at 07:36 AM (edited) i started playing rtcw first at my cousins's, then i tried installing it on my pc but by accident i downloaded ET in early 2005. played for long time till 2012 maybe, hosted servers, mappings, configs and many more, i had to ragequit ET due to hackers invasion and ruining the fun especially for ETPro. and now im back in 2023 , somehow addicted more than before , most importantly my parents dont tell me anymore to get up from pc so i can play as much as i can xD feel old yet? Snake in the Grass Posted Tuesday at 09:49 AM Posted Tuesday at 09:49 AM @hyness So many great titles on Commodore 64: Target Renegade, Double Dragon, Maniac Mansion, Bubble Bobble, Boulder Dash, Spy vs Spy, etc. They rocked !! 1 Quote
Platinum VIP -=HipKat=- Posted Tuesday at 11:09 AM Platinum VIP Posted Tuesday at 11:09 AM (edited) RTCW in 2002, then stopped when I moved from NY to Illinois. Picked up ET in 2008 and played almost every day since, without breaks. Played every mod, owed ETPro servers, JM servers and played in many clans, then just became a random nobody the last 8 years.... 3 hours ago, Drempa said: i started playing rtcw first .... The hackers took over ETPro until it was no longer bearable Edited Tuesday at 11:11 AM by -=HipKat=- 1 1 Quote

Kimos Posted Tuesday at 03:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:28 PM My father taught me. I used to sit next to him in the weekends when he was playing. And I think it was somewhere in 2006 when I started playing myself together with my brother. I took a big break in 2015 and started playing actively again in 2020. sometimes I see people again who I’ve been playing with in the beginning years , and that is what I love the most about this game ; the people. 2 Quote
boki Posted Tuesday at 04:06 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:06 PM First time playing already in 2003 for a few years, then again started in 2015 and since then, just like Drempa, playing even more 😁 2 Quote
+ Dropz Posted Tuesday at 07:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:43 PM on/off since like 2006, some short and some long breaks but always eventually come back 😄 Quote
