boki Posted Wednesday at 10:54 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:54 PM Definitively not issue on the client side. having these issues myself lately. It is not the packet loss shown on the WinMTR, because with the same amount of packet loss, I do not have any lag or connection issues with any other ET server. Those are simply dropped ICMP packets. There is an issue with Jay1. Ping goes up by 2x or even 3x and the game eventually gets unplayable. Then suddenly the lag is completely gone (the packet loss still shown on the WinMTR, so it is not affecting or causing lag issues) and one can normally play. The issue is either happening on the server or something else is affecting the network performance (not a connection issue). Another thing - Jay1 is the only server where you can be hit behind the corner, another signal there is a network issue on the server side. @Bison90 I see your ping is fluctuating quite a bit (big difference between best and worst with high average). Can you, please, run a network connection test and post a screenshot of it? You can run it here: https://www.speedtest.net/ 2 Quote

How does that compare to yours? ACK! The forums did not combine my last 2 posts. Edited Wednesday at 11:48 PM by RedBaird 1 Quote

boki Posted Thursday at 04:07 PM Posted Thursday at 04:07 PM Is there a way, for testing purposes at least, to connect your computer to your router using a network cable (to avoid wireless connection completely and the amplifier)? Then you should repeat all those tests and see what comes out. My results are similar to those of Leatherface, regarding the speed. Yours response times seem a bit too high for a connection originating from Germany (would be normal for India, i.e.). Did you problems start with adding that extender? Or, can you connect the issue start with anything you have done on the computer or router? Quote
Bison90 Posted Thursday at 04:53 PM Author Posted Thursday at 04:53 PM I don't know what you mean but I'll say so wifi router is living room extender in my room with lan cable I don't use wifi but before that I had no problem only I bought another GPU installed play pure high ping why but it has to work exactly like that hmm Quote
